Ok, I have been neglecting this...
Thanks Thomas for giving me a subtle kick in the right direction :P

My move to Scotland has been good so far, had a minor setback in may and I went back to Amsterdam for a weekend but all is fine now :)

Moved into my flat here and started work. First had 2 weeks of training and then I wen "live" troubleshooting printers *yay*
Loving Glasgow really. Would love to live there, but it's not possible yet :P

Soon I'm moving in with a mate of mine, Paul, to cut the costs a bit. His roommate is moving back to Holland so he asked me to come live there. Gonna be loads of fun ^^
Apart from that, life as usual I guess, Work / free time ;)

Went to Lyle Hill today, which is a viewpoint in Greenock

Mark (friend from work) and me walked all the way up, which wasn't as bad as we expected, from all the horror story's we heard! After that we wanted to take another road back and we ended up on the golf course, which was a bit awkward :P
Since we didn't take the "normal" road anyway, we had a look at the cemetery.
Went into greenock for some groceries after. back at his place we watched Equilibrium and had some food.
Had a great day but now I'm starting to doze off ;)

Last year in July I went to the concert of Leonard Cohen, one of the best experiences in my life and I regret not going to more concerts of him.
This week the dvd Live in London hit the shops and my mum keeps telling me it's awesome *jealous*
Looked for the cd on spotify and luckily they had it!!!
Listening to it now, goosebumps and all, Love this man and his music!

So much happening at the moment, forgot to update here.
I'll give a nice little overview :P

March 13th I moved into my new flat, don't have any pics at the moment but it's really nice. It's a one bedroom flat, nice living room, kitchen and bathroom (bath yay!!) Oh and a balcony! I'm really loving it, eventho it's not in the greatest neighbourhood. (have to do groceries with the bus -.-')
The same day Lewis came over which was really nice, hadn't seen him him in a while. Ofcourse he came over AFTER I moved all my stuff & boxes into the flat :P

Next week I started work at IBM for Xerox tech department. Since I worked at Imabari on my own for a year I was kinda nervous about having collegues again, but it turned out all good. Nice Dutch team, very social and I felt quite welcome.
Had a lot of training on how to troubleshoot for Xerox and it's actually quite fun. Just the amount of things... was SO tired everytime i got home :P

Lewis came over the next weekend again and I tried Haggis! It wasn't all that bad to be honest. Think I was just thinking to much about WHAT i was eating, wouldve enjoyed it more without my mind wandering off what part of the sheep I was chewing on NOW :P

This week has been the same really, more training, more tired :P Went to Dundee friday to visit Lewis and we're going to watch the match tonight, Holland - Scotland *grin*

Moving into my new flat tomorrow! I will take loads of piccies and once I have internet I will upload them ^^

Went to some little island called Cumbrae today, was very very pretty. Will go into more detail soon, way to tired now :P

Today I had an appointment to view a flat at 11am in Paisley. We entered the appartment, being on the 3rd floor.. and I nearly cried. It was half of my old flat and this was a studio >< Could barely move in it. Went to 3 other agency's in Paisley but all the flats were quite expensive and small.
From Paisley to my work it's about 30 mins by train and it would be 70 pounds a month. Figured I should look at places in Greenock because it was the same price range.

First 3 letting agents were shit >< nothing in my price range. Last one I went had 2 flats, we could view both immediately.
First one was small and smelled bad lol, but way better than anything I had seen before. The second one blew my mind :P It was really nice, lots of new furniture etc.

Decided that I will be taking that appartment, eventho the rent is a bit higher than I like ><

My mum and me left to Newcastle with the boat from ijmuiden on monday at 6pm Dutch time. Arrived in Newcastle at 9am. Road change was difficult at first, going a lot better now, but damn, changing sides is hard, remember you where thought before crossing a road. First look to your left, then to the right and left again and cross the street. damn, hard changing that after 23 years :P

After we got off the boat we went to a little shopping mall thingy with parking spaces to redo all the boxes etc I took with me. Closed the door and drove away. We heard a big BOOM and we looked back, door open, few bags all over the street. Oh yes xD

Ofcourse we took some wrong turns here and there and we freaked out cus we forgot on which side of the road we had to be etc etc. But we got there!

I'm in Largs now.. The owner of the B&B told me to find a place here because it is so beautiful, and it is, it really is.. but erm.. kinda dead aswell :P being used to Amsterdam... no :P

Clearing the last few things together with Renée and Richard out of my appartment, cleaning, cleaning... blah.
Tonight finally some decent sleep, tomorrow afternoon I'm leaving o:
Emotions still all over the place, leaving friends, family and my sweet cats behind.

Emotions all over the place!!!
Moving to Scotland in exactly 2 weeks and it's just weird, seeing people for the last time, going places for the last time.
Next week my cats will be leaving to my grandparents, Packing all my things, leaving my house.

Haven't been sleeping well for ages, just really want it to be over with. Have some peace in my head. Want it to be quiet and relax for a night. Just doesn't seem to be possible.

In 2 weeks I'm there and I'm sure it will look way better then, just have to hang on for a bit I guess ^^

Finally got the word that my pc was fixed and running again. Went to pick it up with my dad in Rotterdam because they forgot to send it and with Christmas it would take ages to actualyl get it, so we decided to just drive there.
After waiting half an hour I finally had my beloved pc back. Walked out the door, dad wanted to start the car... which.. didn't happen :P
Seriously, am I doomed?

A few weeks ago I saw this amazing "toy" and it would be in stock end of November.
This morning I ordered it but what a waste of money it would be to just buy the toy... I mean.. they have amazing t-shirts!! :P I decided on 2 very nice t-shirts.
Talk Nerdy to Me and Things to Come. Especially the last one has such nice design, loving it. Spend a bit to much money, but hey.. it's Christmas soon, right? ^^

Bike stolen... GRRRR

Three weeks after my lovely new pc arrived... It passed away...
Had some electricity problems last night and it wont give a signal to my monitor and wont supply power to my keyboard and mouse. Sending it away for repair this week :'(

Haven't been focusing on my blog lately and there are a few reasons for that, one is that I haven't been feeling great for a while now. The big question "what do I want out of life" has been a big issue lately. When I have something on my mind like this, it's all I can think about and it's not fun stuff to read about so I just stopped posting.
Still don't know what to do but everything looks a lil brighter then before :)

Sibbe, my cat, has been sick for a few weeks now, not really sick, but he is allergic to fleas.. no serious :P He started licking his entire fur off and it's still not really better but I kinda don't have the money to go to the vet again :S He is feeling a lot better tho so that is good. But when I was at the vet they found a disturbance in his heartbeat, so will have to take care of that. Really something for me, having a cat with heartproblems >< Dali on the other hand, is chatty as ever and is doing great.

The new expansion for WoW came out, Wrath of the Lich King, and I haven't bothered with the leveling to 80 a lot. There is a new class, Death Knight, wich is insanely fun, so I have been playing around with that. Late nights + heavy drinking and a lot of fun on the ventrilo servers ^^

So all in all I have been feeling happy the last few days, wich is good. Everything will solve itself soon enough. Future is bright! (someone slap me please? :P)

It happened.... I'm 23 years old today...

With my contract with the job agency ending next week, I still had 5 free days left so I could either get them paid, but taxes would be cutting it in half, or just take a vacation. Belgium here I come!!!
Rented a house in the Ardennes, lot's of nature and close to some lovely towns such as Bouillon.
Two weeks ago we were thinking of going to Corfu, but suddenly my mum's boyfriend had to go on a business trip leaving my mum with the dog, Skilly. Then decided we could find something closer to home where we could get the dog with us and we found this house last minute. Click here!

Long time ago I used to order things at Wehkamp. It was very easy since you could get the items you didnt want back very easy.
Since I started swimming again I needed a new swimsuit, so I decided to check wehkamp because there is nothing I hate more then shopping for one. After a few minutes I found a nice one, not to expensive and pretty! I checked out the jackets as well since I badly needed one and found one for 40 euros. They have this policy that if you order before 8 you have it at home the next day. So 3 days later I finally recieved my order and to my surprise it only contained the jacket. I checked the reciepts and there was not a word about the swimsuit. Jacket didn't fit so I wanted to return it.
Next day I called to inform about the swimsuit and the return policy...

I told the woman how I waited 3 days for my order and her reply was "impossible" eh?
I asked what happened with my swimsuit and she replied "If you order something you should check if its available at the time, if it is out of stock you won't get it ofcourse!" told her that when I ordered the item was in stock. Her reply "It is on the reciept then" I told her it was not and she replied "Impossible!" err wha?
I then told her that I wanted to return my jacket and asked if there was a service where I could mail or bring it somewhere. She told me about DHL service points and I asked her wich was closest to my house. "You can't use this service" asked her why I couldn't "Because you are a new costumer" told her I was a costumer for years already but that didn't count somehow (don't ask why lol) So I asked her how I could return my items then. "We can make an appointment to come pick it up, every workday between 12.00 and 18.00" told her I wanted one at 17.30. "No, sorry, it's between 12.00 and 18.00 we can't make it more specific" told her I had work and I wouldnt take a day leave to stay at home waiting for wehkamp to get my stuff. "You will have to pay for the item and not return it" at that point something said click in my head and i got SO mad. I said, wow i think this is really crappy service and she actually managed to say this.... "No, you don't" asked her if she was insane telling me what to think and she told me not to be rude..

She has been busy the whole conversation trying to act as if I was a baby and as if I was telling lies (impossible!) Now she told me I was rude.. I'm sorry, I don't see how I was rude here...
Argh NEVER EVER am I gonna order at Wehkamp again. This is the worst service ever! considering just keeping the jacket. Maybe my mum likes it :P

Saturday Ruud came by to drop off a copy of Vista, installed it. (after I forgot to plug in my laptop, we needed to start over because the power was simply gone, yes I am THAT smart!) Installed a few drivers and it's up and running again. Few things are still weird though. My wireless doesn't seem to connect. It can see all the acces points, but can't connect to them somehow. Don't know what is up with that.. :S
some drivers seem to stop working altogether from time to time as well. First my webcam drivers. I de-installed them and then my cam worked (yes without any drivers :S) and yesterday my sound just stopped, telling me the drivers weren't installed. So I restarted the pc and the lovely sound of Vista greeted me. (/wrist)

Ach, I can be on a stable pc for now till my pc is fixed aka new one :P

Yesterday i woke up and something wasnt right. When I tried to talk to my cat (Yes, I'm one of those people!!) no sound came out and it felt like a bomb went off in my throat. My head felt "woolie" (Anyone got a better name for this?) and after half an hour of trying to get up and get dressed I decided I felt to sick to go to work. Called work and tried to let him know my voice was gone (quite tricky :P) Woke up again at 10 and I felt a bit better, just some kind of virus.
At 11 I wanted to watch the new episode of One Tree Hill (must watch serie!!!) and I went to watch it at my desktop, 2 minutes in the power went out and I decided to grab my laptop. Started it up and then I noticed I wasn't the only one coming down with a virus. Never seen so much porn ads before the Screen of Doom... Blue Screen. To make a long story short, I spend the next 6 hours trying to get my antivirus program to run and I found out it was a Trojan in Win32. Looked up what could be done about it and tried all, nothing worked. At this point I was so pissed that I got my Windows XP cd and just formatted the whole thing. Worked like a charm, so I tried to setup the internet and found out drivers were missing. After 2 hours of searching, found out that the network drivers weren't compatible with windows XP... I was ready to either throw my laptop out of the window or kick Bill Gates, at these times I just wish I saved more for a mac -.- next time.. next time :P
Now I knew the virus was gone and if I installed Vista like a moron my laptop would be allright <3 Special thanks to Bart who helped me NOT to have a nervous breakdown because of this :D

I finally watched the first episode of the season from One Tree Hill wich was great!!! My bf decided to speak Danish to me, wich was very very understandable *cough* Had an awesome talk about ice cappuccino and in wich coffee machine to make it (NONE ffs :P) and a generally nice night with some dc-ing of my good old desktop, but who cares!!! *Happy*
