Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away in the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is Well.

A few weeks ago I saw this amazing "toy" and it would be in stock end of November.
This morning I ordered it but what a waste of money it would be to just buy the toy... I mean.. they have amazing t-shirts!! :P I decided on 2 very nice t-shirts.
Talk Nerdy to Me and Things to Come. Especially the last one has such nice design, loving it. Spend a bit to much money, but hey.. it's Christmas soon, right? ^^
I'm very happy with them and for the next 6 months I have to stay off http://www.jinx.com/ to prevent myself from buying more ^^

Haven't been focusing on my blog lately and there are a few reasons for that, one is that I haven't been feeling great for a while now. The big question "what do I want out of life" has been a big issue lately. When I have something on my mind like this, it's all I can think about and it's not fun stuff to read about so I just stopped posting.
Still don't know what to do but everything looks a lil brighter then before :)
Sibbe, my cat, has been sick for a few weeks now, not really sick, but he is allergic to fleas.. no serious :P He started licking his entire fur off and it's still not really better but I kinda don't have the money to go to the vet again :S He is feeling a lot better tho so that is good. But when I was at the vet they found a disturbance in his heartbeat, so will have to take care of that. Really something for me, having a cat with heartproblems >< Dali on the other hand, is chatty as ever and is doing great.
The new expansion for WoW came out, Wrath of the Lich King, and I haven't bothered with the leveling to 80 a lot. There is a new class, Death Knight, wich is insanely fun, so I have been playing around with that. Late nights + heavy drinking and a lot of fun on the ventrilo servers ^^
So all in all I have been feeling happy the last few days, wich is good. Everything will solve itself soon enough. Future is bright! (someone slap me please? :P)

With my contract with the job agency ending next week, I still had 5 free days left so I could either get them paid, but taxes would be cutting it in half, or just take a vacation. Belgium here I come!!!
Rented a house in the Ardennes, lot's of nature and close to some lovely towns such as Bouillon.
Two weeks ago we were thinking of going to Corfu, but suddenly my mum's boyfriend had to go on a business trip leaving my mum with the dog, Skilly. Then decided we could find something closer to home where we could get the dog with us and we found this house last minute. Click here!
Leaving monday and _really_ looking forward to it.

Long time ago I used to order things at Wehkamp. It was very easy since you could get the items you didnt want back very easy.
Since I started swimming again I needed a new swimsuit, so I decided to check wehkamp because there is nothing I hate more then shopping for one. After a few minutes I found a nice one, not to expensive and pretty! I checked out the jackets as well since I badly needed one and found one for 40 euros. They have this policy that if you order before 8 you have it at home the next day. So 3 days later I finally recieved my order and to my surprise it only contained the jacket. I checked the reciepts and there was not a word about the swimsuit. Jacket didn't fit so I wanted to return it.
Next day I called to inform about the swimsuit and the return policy...
I told the woman how I waited 3 days for my order and her reply was "impossible" eh?
I asked what happened with my swimsuit and she replied "If you order something you should check if its available at the time, if it is out of stock you won't get it ofcourse!" told her that when I ordered the item was in stock. Her reply "It is on the reciept then" I told her it was not and she replied "Impossible!" err wha?
I then told her that I wanted to return my jacket and asked if there was a service where I could mail or bring it somewhere. She told me about DHL service points and I asked her wich was closest to my house. "You can't use this service" asked her why I couldn't "Because you are a new costumer" told her I was a costumer for years already but that didn't count somehow (don't ask why lol) So I asked her how I could return my items then. "We can make an appointment to come pick it up, every workday between 12.00 and 18.00" told her I wanted one at 17.30. "No, sorry, it's between 12.00 and 18.00 we can't make it more specific" told her I had work and I wouldnt take a day leave to stay at home waiting for wehkamp to get my stuff. "You will have to pay for the item and not return it" at that point something said click in my head and i got SO mad. I said, wow i think this is really crappy service and she actually managed to say this.... "No, you don't" asked her if she was insane telling me what to think and she told me not to be rude..
She has been busy the whole conversation trying to act as if I was a baby and as if I was telling lies (impossible!) Now she told me I was rude.. I'm sorry, I don't see how I was rude here...
Argh NEVER EVER am I gonna order at Wehkamp again. This is the worst service ever! considering just keeping the jacket. Maybe my mum likes it :P
Labels: bad service, rude, wehkamp
Saturday Ruud came by to drop off a copy of Vista, installed it. (after I forgot to plug in my laptop, we needed to start over because the power was simply gone, yes I am THAT smart!) Installed a few drivers and it's up and running again. Few things are still weird though. My wireless doesn't seem to connect. It can see all the acces points, but can't connect to them somehow. Don't know what is up with that.. :S
some drivers seem to stop working altogether from time to time as well. First my webcam drivers. I de-installed them and then my cam worked (yes without any drivers :S) and yesterday my sound just stopped, telling me the drivers weren't installed. So I restarted the pc and the lovely sound of Vista greeted me. (/wrist)
Ach, I can be on a stable pc for now till my pc is fixed aka new one :P

Yesterday i woke up and something wasnt right. When I tried to talk to my cat (Yes, I'm one of those people!!) no sound came out and it felt like a bomb went off in my throat. My head felt "woolie" (Anyone got a better name for this?) and after half an hour of trying to get up and get dressed I decided I felt to sick to go to work. Called work and tried to let him know my voice was gone (quite tricky :P) Woke up again at 10 and I felt a bit better, just some kind of virus.
At 11 I wanted to watch the new episode of One Tree Hill (must watch serie!!!) and I went to watch it at my desktop, 2 minutes in the power went out and I decided to grab my laptop. Started it up and then I noticed I wasn't the only one coming down with a virus. Never seen so much porn ads before the Screen of Doom... Blue Screen. To make a long story short, I spend the next 6 hours trying to get my antivirus program to run and I found out it was a Trojan in Win32. Looked up what could be done about it and tried all, nothing worked. At this point I was so pissed that I got my Windows XP cd and just formatted the whole thing. Worked like a charm, so I tried to setup the internet and found out drivers were missing. After 2 hours of searching, found out that the network drivers weren't compatible with windows XP... I was ready to either throw my laptop out of the window or kick Bill Gates, at these times I just wish I saved more for a mac -.- next time.. next time :P
Now I knew the virus was gone and if I installed Vista like a moron my laptop would be allright <3 Special thanks to Bart who helped me NOT to have a nervous breakdown because of this :D
I finally watched the first episode of the season from One Tree Hill wich was great!!! My bf decided to speak Danish to me, wich was very very understandable *cough* Had an awesome talk about ice cappuccino and in wich coffee machine to make it (NONE ffs :P) and a generally nice night with some dc-ing of my good old desktop, but who cares!!! *Happy*

I was just browsing the Silent Hill 5 forums when I found a comment wich made me giggle :P
I dont like the sound of an "all new combat system". Sounds like theyre overcomplicating the simple "shitoshitoshit" combat.
This goes for so many games. You have a great game, though the combat system just plain sucks. It is playable, but meh. So for the next game in the series, they make an "all new combat system" wich translates in "We looked at what was wrong and made it even worse!" Really looking forward to see how this ends ^^
Not to long anymore, Silent Hill: Homecoming will be in stores at the end of september *happydance*

Ever since I heard of this concert I wanted to go there, Play! A Video Game Symphony.
They always toured in the U.S.A. so that was kind of hard to reach ^^ This year they are coming to Copenhagen, when I saw that I decided that I would go, make a weekend out of it. It's after my birthday so my financial situation should be a bit better as well.
But the funny part, I'm gonna combine this now to visit Aske as well, going to the concert together and enjoying ourselves ^^
Coincidence :)
Really looking forward to the concert itself. On the latest shows Akira Yamaoka played A song, wich is one of my fav songs in the Silent Hill series. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ38UUXjQDw I really hope he will be there, I so love the games because of the great music!
Ok, well that's enough of my fangirl addictions ><

Ok, I'm on a roll here >< have a lot to post :P
Yesterday I had a bit of an emo-rant day, sorry for that to the people who listend and thanks for all your support ;) But back on topic.
In friendships/relationships a lot can go wrong, this is a known fact. But what I don't understand is when people suddenly dissapear.
Just out of nowhere no contact. Last words in a conversation "We need to have more contact, I'm sick so I'm going home from work, I'll be on msn later today. Talk to you soon, xxx missed you!" That was 26th of june and I haven't heard a thing since. I know he's alive but that's about it.
I can understand if a friendship is over after a fight or something happening, but this is just so weird.
Would just like to speak to him to know why. That's all :P
I just got offered a contract for a year. I should be _so_ excited.. but I'm not :S
Basically I have a dream job, I don't have to do much, can read some books and if my boss isn't here. I can even bring my laptop and play some games or watch some series/movies.
Who wouldn't want that right? well.. me...
It all sounds awesome and yay but I need a more rewarding job to be honest. I come home tired, from doing nothing. My brain just stops working from reading damn gossip sites and playing flash games.
meh, I feel spoiled for not being happy about this, a lot of people would kill for this job, just right now I'm at a stage of "what the hell to do with my life?" I want to study, but study what? My dream was always to leave Holland someday, live/work abroad but with the study I had in mind I can't really work in another country. Lot of people say, just stay in Holland! but well, I'm always picking men in other country's too, so meh..
Why isn't stuff like this more easy? I'm all confused :(
My dad surprised me by taking me to Denmark for the weekend, by car, wich was quite an adventure ^^
We left Amsterdam on friday at 17.00 and arrived in Aalborg at 03.00 in the morning, we picked up Aske and tried to look for a hotel but every hotel/hostel was full because of a... Tupperware Convention.. Yes, I'm deadserious... >< We booked a hotel for the next night (Hotel Scheelsminde) so we decided to just go there and see if a room would be free early.
At 12.00 we could go into our rooms, finally a bed!!! We decided to take a shower first wich turned out to be a bit funny, with the shower head tumbling down all the time. Slept for a few hours and then went to the center of Aalborg to eat. Had some really yummy nacho chips with chicken and molten cheese. Oh and the lovely guacamole.. sooo yum :P
Back at the hotel we wanted to try the swimming pool but since we didn't bring our swimming clothes we had to use underwear etcn *angel* Turned out it was quite busy at that time so we went for a walk instead.
There were some senior gardens (volkstuintjes) and we stole a lot of yummy apples from the trees and some cherries (wich were a bit sour, but I loved it ^^)
On sunday we woke up early to try the swimming pool again, was very cold at first, but a good wake up at 8.00 :P After the icy pool we went into the sauna. I'm not a big fan of the sauna, I prefer the Turkish Steambaths (spelling?) But I quite enjoyed it for once. It wasn't that hot and actually stayed in for 30 mins or more :o
After we left the hotel we went to Egholm, an island next to Aalborg. We walked in the woods a bit and sat down on the beach where some red ants bit me :'(
We went back to the centre of Aalborg to drink something, we played a game of Yahtzee, wich I won yay! I learned to play chess, altho I sucked :P
At 18.00 my dad and me left again for Holland, shame it was so short, but it was worth it. Loved Aalborg, really nice place and would like to explore more of it. Loved the company, but that is kinda obvious. Looking forward to something like this again.

The nine ("nava") emotional states ("rasa") that are exhibited during music, drama, and the visual arts, the experience of which bring about a state of transcendental bliss.
As I still (very casual) play WoW with some friends of mine we decided to switch servers, when some old Symmetry members heard that we would be leaving, they wanted to come with us. Since we suddenly were with more then a guild would take in at once we decided to start up our own little guild. It won't be used for hardcore raiding, just some casual play with friends.
I'm very happy with this decision since I really missed the people from Symmetry and playing with them.
We started thinking of a name and a lot liked Navaras because of the meaning behind it. Juno Reactor has a song called Navras, wich is used in the Matrix movies. I loved the song so I looked up the meaning of Navras and tadaaa guildname was born.

Ok, yes, I know, I have been slacking with my blog, but meh, I will start again soon ;)
In the mean while, I was fiddling around with my cam to upload some video's on youtube, so I was singing etc and then _this_ happened...
enjoy!
edit: Note one of my t-shirts! They arrived! will make pictures of the other ones as well.

From the 10th till the 20th I had my summer vacation and I had very nice company I must say ^^
Friend of mine, Aske, was coming over from Denmark to visit me for 10 days, the start was a bit crappy since there was something wrong with the flight and he had to catch the flight at 7 in the morning the next day, leaving him to "sleep" at the airport so instead I had a friend of mine come over to watch some One Tree Hill, some awesome series wich I'm totally addicted to. next morning (I slept for 10 mins ><) I went to pick him up from the airport and we both looked like ghosts, we said hi, went to my place and went to bed, but not being able to sleep :P
We did kiss tho *blush*
The next day I went to the concert of Leonard Cohen, already wrote about that in my last post, was so amazing. In october he plays in Berlin and I'm going there with my mum, making a weekend out of it. He also announced a new concert in Rotterdam in november, checking if i can go there.. aswell xD (I'm not a groupie.. honest!!) Oh and I want to try and get to the Play Concert wich is in Copenhagen, but it would be SO cool to see that live..
Anyway, I'm drifting off a bit, wanted to tell about my awesome vacation in Amsterdam! (playing tourist, whoohoo!) On sunday we went to visit the centre of Amsterdam, seeing the canals, going into little streets, ate some ice cream at Tofani's and went to Kung Fu Panda (lovely movie!!) It was fun to walk in Amsterdam like this, seeing places and things you would normally not notice because it's all "normal" to me, living here.
We went to the Bijlmer and the Amsterdam Arena, home of Ajax! we biked all the way to Oudekerk aan de Amstel, wich was very nice, except that I burned and the wind wasn't nice to us on our way back >< We had BBQ on my balcony, wich was quite fun, never did that before. (ofc I over ate xD)
Thursday Ruud and Bart came over and we walked a bit in the centre again, trying to find a gift for Ruud, since it was his birthday the next day. (seriously, can't you take a hint..?!) We got him this awesome Warcraft book, very nice, very jealous... :P
Next day we went to Artis, the zoo, was really fun, didn't go there for a long time and was good to see it all again. In the evening we got a surprise visit from my Soesie, Renée, with wine!! We drank a bit to much (since 2 bottles with 3 people wasn't enough we HAD to buy more, you understand that, right? :P) and played some Munchkin.
The rest of the week the weather was quite bad, so we just stayed in and played some Serious Sam campaign (almost finished it!) and I kicked his ass in Halo 3 <3
Had a really great vacation without even traveling somewhere AND I met this great guy, yay for me :P
